Brought this home this past Friday. 2012 with 31K miles. Dealership where bought had sold this truck new and had performed all maintenance since. Original owner had the Undercover Tonneau and AVS Vent Visors installed at time of purchase.

This is my second Tacoma - I previously had a 2005 TRD Offroad DC PreRunner which got sold when my job commute got longer. I had a VW Jetta Sportwagen diesel until this, right now I'm thinking that was a bad decision. Car was fun to drive, maintenance costs where unbelieveable, even with me doing all I can.

In the 8 days that have followed:
    - Tinted front windows
    - Installed Pioneer with Scosche TA2111BPB mounting kit and appropriate Metra Wiring harness
    - WeatherTech Floor Mats (Black)
    - Removed Rear Headrests
    - Corrected/Adjusted/Bettered the installation of the UnderCover Tonneau
    - Removed the Charcoal secondary filter
    - Installed this: Toyota Hitch Receiver cover
    - Chrome bezel license plate frame (I know, trivial - but it counts!)
    - Modded the front driver's seat (Probably shouldn't mention this)
    - Ran a tank of gas through at 23.3 mpg. This will get better, I've been playing with my new truck!

    - 2 things currently on order:
    - Trailer Plug Bracket Block
    - USB/Aux Plug to go with the Pioneer

If you are still reading - Thanks!

    Plans and questions:
Mounting a set of these: Bridgestone Dueler A/T Revo 2 in 235/75/15 on the stock steels (White letters out of course!)

Now I have searched, searched, searched again, and read, read, read - but can't come up with definitive answers to the following:
    - With the above mentioned tires mounted, will the black box mod be required?
    - I would like to lift the back (only). Only about 1/1-1/2" at the axle, nothing more, only to break the stock look. I think the FatBob's AAL will be too much. Can I add these and remove one of the stock leafs for the desired lift? With this lift, will shock replacement be necessary?

PLEASE - if someone has a better idea for lifting the back end only this small amount - please share! I don't want to change the ride any more than necessary since the main use for this truck is a long commute with occasional hauling of less than 300lbs.

    Thanks for the read!

Went and explored the local mountains. Had a great time.

Trucks gonna sit a little higher in the rear again. I ended up having to put the add a leaf in to compensate for the longer Icon shocks.

Do you guys think its worth it if someone relocate their shock tower and added like 11" shocks on a stock leaf with aal? Also if you use the shock relocation can't you also flip your u bolts?

Those dealership lights really make the truck look good! But she had to get traded for my new Kia Forte5!
