New member from Dallas, TX (via Bay Area)
I bought my Tacoma in January after my Audi was totaled in a tornado on 12/26 (we lost our home as well). Decided to buy another Tacoma (had new 2002 TRD 4x4) sold it in 05 and got back into my original love of European cars. So glad to have another Taco and bought it with pretty much not having to do too many mods. Purchased with King OEM suspension and look alike beadlocks (not sure what they are).
I've done the lighting, Wet Okole seat covers, weather- tech mats, nerf bars, stereo system (minor cosmetic stuff). Next up is a billet style grill, painting the lower bumper cover back to original Barcelona red. Tires were purchase today BFG AT (295/75 16). No rubbing issues and I'm very surprised that I didn't have to do any cutting (I live in Dallas now so I'm not too worried about potential off-road rubbing issues). I also kept the old 285's and may buy some cheap steel wheels should I find a place to wheel (not mud!!)
