So about 2 months ago I get into my truck and go to start it. I turn the key to the on position and nothing happens, no dash lights come on and no sound what so ever. It takes a couple of times turning the key on and off and finally the trucks starts no problem. At this point I thought I would just wait to see if it happened again before trying to figure the problem out. That brings me to today. The truck did the same thing, turn the key to start the truck and no dash lights come on or anything. I also notices as I got in the truck the dome light did not come on like it normally does. I again finally got it started after turning the key on and off a few times. Does this sound like and ignition problem or battery problem? Thanks

It might be the ignition switch, but I would check the battery and ground connections first. The dome light does not depend on the switch.

Let us know what you find--we might learn something.
