2000 Tacoma Daytime Running Light Disabling Procedure?

    So did some researching on this as it's specific to the 2000 year only on Tacoma's. I found the TSB that calls out connector D8 Pin #2. Heard some other info that theres a connector between the battery and fender wall that can just be unplugged to defeat DRL's. Supposedly has no impact on the other light functions. I'd rather do that option instead of cutting a wire off the D8 connector. I understand this has to be done on 2001 and newer years. If anyone can chime in on the 2000 model if thats what they did is just unplug the connector in the engine bay would be appreciated. Thanks
