Getting my OEM Off Road Wheels Powder Coated and was quoted $65 a wheel that does not need tire removal.

Place is legit and does great work.

They also offer same day service and you can leave your vehicle there for $450. They will remove wheels, powder coat, mount and balance all same day.

 

I think these look pretty cool. But just out of curiosity, why are they so close together? It doesn't look like they could hold a tent or something large.

Again not trying to bash, just curious.

 

Gonna get rock sliders since I just put a $1200 dent in my rocker panel already. My question is Bolt on VS. weld on. Welding is stronger supposedly, but other than being permanent, is there a disadvantage? Might it void a warranty if I weld the frame? Will it make the frame weaker? What are your thoughts??

as a guy who does warranty claims on machinery i would say weld on would void warranty because you are removing the oem surface protector in order to weld. so if your frame ever rusts that will more than likely be the first excuse why they wont warranty.

 

No offense taken at all. It seems closer than the pic but reason why I put it closer is to have clearance for my bed extender. I could move it back a little more but going to wait and probably get a Yakima basket to mount on top of it.

 

Oh cool I never thought about a basket on top. Nice I like that idea.

 

I don't have a 3rd gen but just wanted to share.

 

Same here, I wanted to scoop and the black fenders. Looks like we'll get that with the 2017 TRD Pro (just saw a video on youTube ).
Until then, I'm planning on PlstiDiping my fenders, grill & front bumper.

 

Just ordered some @RelentlessFab bolt on rock sliders with filler plates! Thanks again Eric for all your help and I can't wait to get them on my truck
