'16 Tacoma TRD OR DC LB
Purchased a DLCB TRD OR Blazing Blue Pearl several weeks ago from the dealership in Anchorage. Finally got the truck last Friday after the dealerships body shop had to repair some damage from shipping it up. I couldn't believe how lucky I was to get the exact truck I wanted without having to place a special order. The dealership up here had a lot of Tacoma's on their lot, only 3 LB's though. I even called a bunch of dealers in OR/WA just to get an idea to see if it would make sense to purchase down south then drive/ship up but the AK dealer beat any quote I was given down from Lower 48 dealers, and they had the truck I wanted sitting right on the lot. I'm going to guess that trucks make up close to 50% of the vehicles on the road up here.

I have been trying to learn as much as possible about it since I picked it up. I have been reading these forums for awhile and they definitely helped with the purchase and am putting together a list of mods together that I'd like to make in the future.

Took the truck up in the mountains yesterday and it did alright with the stock tires. I think I will add some aggressive winter tires next year (winter season is coming to an end quickly). That should pretty much make it unstoppable with a couple sandbags in the bed.

Thanks in advance to all the great info offered up by these forums!

Not really close ups of the truck but the only pics I have so far from a little ski trip yesterday:
