Got my bilsteins sitting at 2.5" and an aal in the rear. 285/70/17. Dont mind the ride at all! Just need to get it up just a hair to get rid of some of the rake, and maybe rubbing if I'm lucky. Not sure if coils and .85 would put me higher?? Anyone have experience with this? Input please!

I've never run your setup but I know many who have and I have the toytec ultimate setup with the threaded bilstein 5100's and eibach springs and you can crank them to whatever you want, in as small or as large increments as you want. The website says max 3" lift but that's only because going past 3" is hell on your cv's. Theres room for MUCH more than that if ur ballsy enough to risk it. The same is true of any threaded body coilovers. If ur not happy with what u have then I'd recommend upgrading to a threaded body coilover set up. You will have all the freedom u want to set height and even to offset for taco lean.

As far as rubbing, if ur running 33's then u may want to look into a cab mount chop.

Ya not looking to go too high and put to much stress down there for that exact reason. Just trying to stretch an half-3\4 inch or so. I will look into this more as I've not read every thread on that set up yet

I know :-( been trying to weasel around it. It only rubs in reverse with the wheel fully cranked.... Thats it... So I've just been dealing with it as it is very rare.

Yea, that sounds like a cab mount rub. I dealt with it for about a year before I got pissed off enough to get in there with my grinder and cut those bitches back some. Again- I hope you find a setup that makes you happy. Its all trial and error... Then more trial. Good luck with your build

Well according to Toytec, (3" average lift is achieved with coils and setting the shock adjustment on the second C clip setting from the bottom) Referring to (112-620 Eibach/Toytec front coil springs 620lb spring rate) coils.

It is also stated, to not exceed the second clip setting or damage will occur.

    leave the rake.

Seriously... much more than 2.5in of lift really limits droop.

If you need a specific number just get top plate spacers.

This is my backup plan, I always hear that coils do help improve ride quality so I figured id see if I could kill 2 birds before I went the spacer route... But I do have the notorious taco lean so this might be my best bet.

They won't improve the quality when you preload them.
