Hi, Super glad to know there is a Tacoma World in cyberspace. I was just sent a link to you guys today from a friend as we were both on the hunt for Tacoma's. Currently I have two in my possession. One being a 1995 Maroon x-cab 4x4 4cyl/5 spd with matching shell that I have recently fallen out of love with. I've had it for almost 8 years, bought from the original owner w/ 84,000 miles, it now has 221,000. The new one (to me) is a 2003 6cy/auto double cab 4x4 w/ to many mods to get into. Bottom line is it's too much truck for me. I can't park it in my garage (I live in SF) and it's tricked out with a one of a kind bed kit and lights on the roof racks etc. Bottom line is I don't want to molest it and ruin all the previous owner did to it. So I am in the process of selling two Toy's ;(. And to top it off, sadly I think I am going to have to leave the Tacoma ownership club due to my job needs in a vehicle. At 41 my knees just don't like crawling in and out of the bed (with a shell) daily to fish out my samples to show accounts. I'm, gulp sadly thinking a Dodge Promaster City with the second row seating is going to take the place of my Toyota, not with kicking and screaming though.

I've owned over 7 4x4 Toyota's since I was a teen, starting with an 85, two '89's, two 88's a 92-non 4x4, and finally a 97 t-100 prior to the 95 Tacoma I own now. I loved them all and always wanted to try a different set up V6, etc... and regretted many I let go.

So my question is, as you are all affected like myself with the Toyota disease, is this a good place to put the word out, seeing as CL is full of low ballers and flakes. I'd love for the trucks to go to good homes and someone whom will take as good of care as I have, granted the 2003 I just acquired, but the previous owner is a friend of a friends and he says he babied it so much it was disgusting. Which I think is great.

Sorry for the long winded intro, and sorry for clogging the feed with personal gain seeing as my first post is to sell two trucks. And if I am totally off base here, please direct me.

    Thanks, Garth

Nice trucks. Post them in the classifieds on this site and see if you get any takers. The DC's are extremely popular and hard to come by. If you have clean frames on those trucks many people will travel for them. Good luck.

What gears does the 95 have in it, and what size are the tires?
