Looking for thicker tailgate letters!

Looking for a thicker set of tailgate letters. I received a set of "Tacoma" letters from ToyTec but wish they were thicker then they are.
I saw a white 16' Tacoma last weekend that had the tailgate letters and they were noticeably thicker. Maybe the thickness of a dime.
Any help would be appreciated

I put stainless steel ones on my white tacoma. I'll probably derp them when I do the rest of my badges when it warms up. Will give it some more depth. I think I got them from Amazon.

Forlund the ones I was looking for. $100 bucks from trdparts4u... Little steep for me. Think I'll stick with the vinyl decals for now.

 

They are not cheap, but they are OEM quality emblems that will last the life of the truck, not decals.

I'm on the fence about these myself. I removed the TRD Off Road bed decals, the Tacoma door emblems and the V6 tailgate emblem. I like the cleaner appearance. So why would I buy the inserts? I can't remove the embossed letters from the tailgate, and I am thinking that satin black raised letters would look correct on Quicksand.

 

They would look good on the quicksand, and still have a clean look!

Very pleased with the quality, ease of installation, and "thickness" of the letters. They are not just simple vinyl letters but appears to be made from substantial materials.

These are the ones I ordered but I ordered them directly from BDTrims as they were the same price as Amazon but did not charge the $4.99 shipping like Amazon and I got them quicker by ordering direct. Installation was fairly easy but you only get one shot at getting them in the right place. But they are thick enough that handling and aligning the letters is not a real problem. Not sure how easy installing plain vinyl letters would be especially of they stretch or don't get seated in the right place the first time. IMO, they look real good against the white tailgate especially since I got rid of those stupid V6 and Tacoma emblems.

 

I ordered the BDTrims as well from Amazon. The plastic is about a credit card thick as well as the adhesive, overall thickness is slightly thicker than a dime.

I want holographic letters. the ones that follow my truck about 4 feet behind......
