im new to this forum so first let me introduce myself. i have a 2016 toyota tacoma DCSB SR and looking to upgrade entire suspension set up. i saved money on getting an SR to upgrade suspension. i recently purchased the front icon coilover with resi and bought the rear 2.0 without resi to save money but now kind of second guessing whether i should go with resi before installation. i always hear about overheating but how fast do shocks really overheat? will light abuse and trails really fade the 2.0 shock and will they still perform well on random runs in the desert? or should i just say screw it toss both and get a bilstein 5100 haha thanks for the input in advance

90% of the people here that run dual resi's don't need them or even likely take their trucks off of anything I'd call a road.

i like to take my truck out often but i dont do anything crazy. but there are times where i like to haul ass through some bumps and was wondering if they are just as good as a shock with resi as long as it stays relatively cool
