Roof mounted light bar wiring

So I just put on a 50" sing row led light bar and mounted it with the heavy duty nfab brackets. Looks good I think adds to the sportyness. So it's secured and isn't moving but now I ran into my dilemma. I need to figure out how to run the wires from the roof down to the battery. I have a pretty good idea the response I'm about to get but how can I do it without drilling any more holes through my truck. Is there a way to run the wires down the pillar and pop them out down by the top of the hood?

 

3m tape or weather seal down the side of the windshield, under the hood, to the battery. done.

(thats how i did it, down the passenger side)

 

Doesn't that look cheesy though or did it come out pretty clean looking?

 

Idk but I'd like to see some output shots of that bar. When u get a chance. Curious how it compares to my single row

Yeah I love mine. I've got all vision x evo prime clones. Curious about yours as the optics are a bit different than mine. But still 10 watt leds. The larger reflectors make a huge difference. The spread is just awesome.

Wait a sec here... I thought u were the Op. Lol. My bad. I was talking about his single row with 10watt leds Quite a big difference there between the osram 4d. Ha. Oh well.

I ran mine under the windshield weather stripping. Use black wire and it will never be seen

 

I just installed a similar set up last weekend. Have you ran into trouble with wind noise? I get a whistling that only gets worse with speed. Saw a guy on youtube put edge trim on the back with some success. Was wondering if any of you all had tried anything to get rid of the new wind noise.

Yea, noise was pretty loud. I did use trim on the bottom 3 vanes and it reduced it quite significantly, though not all the time (it comes and goes, but now when it occurs it doesnt stay long). Im thinking about adding trim to another 1-2 vanes to see it it reduces it further. I knew there would be noise going into it, and with 35's and fiberglass fenders, the truck is loud as is so I wasnt to concerned, but the wind noise was more than I thought it would be. trim def helps

 

Wow after seeing what the 50 inch bar looks like I am so glad I went with the 40 inch with my OEM Roof Rack. Just looks to big in my opinion that's all.

Hm. Yeah looks like a lot Is missing. Hard to capture it in pics. Especially with cell phone cameras which I assume yours is. Hell even with proper cameras it's hard. Oh well.
