Been researching on this forum and online for a while and have not found an answer to my question, so forgive me if this is has been covered somewhere in the ether. I have a 2011 access cab trd off road with the tow package. I've been looking at different 3" lifts such as the bilstein and ome. If I wanted to do AAL's with my current leaf springs, would I lose tow capacity? Do I go with blocks in the rear and keep my current leafs OR do I go with the aftermarket AAL's? Towing is a concern to me which is why I got the tow package in the first place, I just want to get the right setup. Keeping the OME or Bilstein in mind, (but open to any good kit for under a grand) what setup would be best for me and what should I keep in mind before I order a kit? I do plan on getting it installed by a professional because I want it done right and don't really have the tools to pull it off. Thanks for your time and input.

I had the same concern with my last Tacoma, blocks wont change anything but ride height. AAL give you extra support and lift. I ended up doing AAL and getting @ToyTec Lifts shackles along with their bilsteins and I was hauling a trailer around the country and through mountains with a nice even ride and smooth Off-road capability.

My full kit was the bilstein adjustable kit with 5100's ($650) this should be sufficient but if your price limit is a grand look into new leaf packs
