    So we have many hunting rifles, shotguns and pistols, but not an AR-15, so last year when I told my dad we should look into getting a couple, he said it would be good to learn about them by building them.

    So we have been gathering the pieces for a while now and have just started our 5.56 builds. Learning by making a few mistakes and hope to be on the range soon, enjoy.....and comment as we build!

    yeah, using a 3 axis programmable CNC mill, about the size of a Suburban, makes stuff like this look easy! Its all in the programming and set-up with one! Torque wrench, yes, my dad loves tools! :D

    ^^ yes, Troy Alpha hand guards, but won't work with the Aero Precision enhanced uppers we have, need BAR mount type guards, so have to return these, ugh! yes, have all the assembly tools too!

    yes, Aero BCG, very happy with the parts, but really wanted that Troy hand-guard and have to see if they make it with BAR type attachment, if not, have to look around!

    I am going with a Magpul CTR FDE on my rifle, which we are building next, but this black rifle is getting the black Magpul MAG378 ACS-L butt stock. :D
