    Hi Tacoma World!

I will bow my head in shame and ask a quick Noob question with no electrical skills:

I bought some fog lights for a 2011 DBSB Base on Amazon. All went well (pre-wired), up until it was time to fit the switch. The pre-wired male connecter behind the dash plate is too big for the female end of the switch, as you can see from the pic. Is there an adapter?

The set on Amazon was advertised as OEM, but it's obviously not. My electrical experience amounts to home speaker wire. Hoping there's an adapter I can plug the pre-wired connecter into to fit into the new fog light switch.

Any ideas? Or do I need to pony up and find a real OEM fog light switch (and if so ... any recommendations that will fit the larger pre-wired male connection)?

Also, apologies for the open wound on the thumb, I learned a quick lesson by not lubing up the screw on the passenger fog light.

    Much appreciated.

Hi, welcome to TW. Have you tried contacting the seller? Can you provide a link to the actual item you purchased?

From the description of the item, it appears it comes with a wiring kit. Did you use the one supplied?
