Just bought and apparently gears were modified.

Purchased from Mullinax ford with 29000miles on it and had drive train problems ever since. Their service department blamed it on bad rear tires and only replaced one. Working out of town I now have 50,000 mIles on it and now they say the back bearing on passenger side is bad. Directed me to Toyota to fix under warranty and Toyota they found excessive slack, damaged gear set,and replaced differential gear set.. Now my 4x4 malfunctions and their saying it was modified before they worked on it. Any help would be very much appreciated. Thanks
