I have a 2015 automatic transmission 4 cylinder Tacoma and was wondering if it can be dinghy towed if I install a drive shaft disconnect. If so what else would need to be done?

Driveline disconnect for towing behind mohome.
I have an 06 TuRD 4X4 with an auto trans. Had a drive line disconnect installed in order to tow on a dolly. worked great but the dolly turned out to be a pain in the arss to deal with. so I asked a 4X guy that's pretty sharp. he said to jack up the frontend and have a friend spin one wheel in one direction and you spin the opposite wheel in the same direction. The front drive line should NOT turn if the transfer case is in the 2X position. This I did and have been towing my TACO with a towbar since.
