Scuffed up the center trim piece on the front bumper cover. Off road so it's just the non painted black plastic insert. Called my local stealer for a price thinking it would be $100+/-. Sticker shock at $815!!! Highway robbery. I'm used to those prices from my local BMW dealer but was a little surprised. I know I'm paying retail plus what the dealer calls matrix pricing. Any suggestions for a Toyota dealer that runs an aggressive online parts business? Part# is 53911B. Thanks.

That's not a part #. That's a reference # of sorts, and the Lexus dealer loves to use them to avoid giving out the part #s. Obviously Toyota, Lexus and the dealers want you to buy parts direct from them.

Contact Elmhurst Toyota in Illinois, they sell and ship parts all over. They might be able to help.

No offense, but their website is dated and there are no parts diagrams. Seems like a pita to have to email and ask for prices. Am I missing something?

I buy mine from conicelli which is partznet.

For a scuff I would not pay $815. Live with the scuff or wait until someone takes one off for an aftermarket bumper.
