So I am moving out of state and can not bring my dirtbike trailer with me. So last minute I needed tie downs in my bed for the bikes. Not re inventing the wheel, just figured I would my cheap way of doing it. These rings are rated for 5K pounds and cost me 5 bucks a piece at Home Depot. The picture of two of the straps together is showing I put a little bend in the bracket so when it was tightened down it would hold the bed and not spin. The shackle is so strong it doesnt need a second bolt but I can add one later if I want. Very strong and cheap.

Do they make noise on bumpy roads?

I drove it tonight and no they don't. They wont, I wont allow it. If they do I will loosen the bolts and put a piece of rubber in between the shackle and D ring.
