Both my front seats have a little rocking play. I think they are just designed this way.

Have you tried adjusting the seatback into a different position and seeing if the play continues? The latch for the reclining seatback might not be engaging fully, or it might be slightly out of adjustment.

Mine just started doing this last week, 7,000 miles in. Very annoying since I've never had a vehicle do this before. Every time I hit the brakes it hits by back a bit or hugs up against me. The passenger side is solid. I can get out of the truck and move my drivers seat about 1/2 an inch or so, but it's enough to notice. Passenger seat doesn't move at all when I try to make it move. And it wasn't like this previously so something loosened up. I'll write it down on my ever expanding list for my 10,000 service.

Hope going 10k with potentially low trans fluid is "ok", haha. It's likely got that since it hesitates going from reverse to drive. I end up waiting in neutral for a bit before hitting drive now to try and minimize it. But the seat is just plain annoying, along with the window howling.

Haven't had this issue at all. Would definitely have it looked at.

So I just got my sport back after having leather installed. I can say for sure that the seat didnt rock before and now I definitely have a 1/4" rock as well. Hoping the dealer will be able to address this quickly. Was hoping that someone on here would already have fix for this.

Found my rocking chair fix, simple enough to find. 9/16th check both front bolts.

Those bolts look like they tighten the bottom only it's the back of the chair that's rocking.

If the fronts aren't tight when you brake and accelerate he seat is going to move a little. This isn't going to help your situation as they removed his seats to install the leather. Yours should be tight from the factory
