FWIW, this watch uses an Swiss ETA 2824-2 automatic movement. Its one of the most proven movements made by ETA, and a pretty stout movement, considered to be in line with some of the more robust movements from Rolex. Its a 25 jewel movement is accurate, and reliable. The "-2", according to my research, makes this movement similar to the chronometer version, but without the COSC cert.

Thanks for the info. I did not even know this. I can say that the watch has kept excellent time compared to a different automatic that I own. Stinks that I never wear this watch due to work, but if I wear it out at night, I receive so many compliments.

If the watch is still available would you go for $ 1299? I would have to resize the bracelet back since I have a very wide wrist, so it would cost me about $ 200 at Oakleys.

I do still have the watch, but cannot go that low. I highly doubt you will need a new strap. With the strap, I only took off two sections. Still plenty of room.

Hi - is the watch still for sale?
Have you been wearing it all this time? Can you post some high res photos?
