Finally got my rear shocks back on. Couldn't find anyone to charge them after I rebuilt them, so now I have my own nitrogen set up!

 

Completely tore down the front end to clean and regrease everything with SuperLube instead of the Redline I had in there. That SL is awesome. It plays nice with my poly bushings so no more squeaks. It doesn't stain everything like Redline and works nice in a grease gun. Also it is food grade so you can use it on your toast if you run out of butter.


LCA bushings regreased.


New bolts and boots for the LBJ that I installed a couple of months ago.


Mocked up the limit straps for the control arms.

Just missing the Factor 55 thimble. Then you're ready for anything.

 

Installed the redline tuning struts, great mod.

 

Went and tried to call in some coyotes. Got a little distracted and ended up at Moonshine Arch. Really isn't a bad trail, most people just take their side by sides or walk.

Replaced the oil in the rear end, the took Aspen for a drive up the mountains. Rear ends are fun

Question regarding rear shocks and All-Pro Expo Leafs:

Hey guys,
I've been doing a lot of reading and am still a little confused. I want to purchase a set of AP Expo leafs to replace my sagging Deaver F42s. In the stock location, what size shock should I get? Can I run some Bilstein 5125s (8",8.5") or longer shocks?. Thanks guys.

 

you'll likely need 9-10'' shocks as you'll have so much lift. BUT you will probably also have to extend your bump stops to keep from bottoming out the shocks.

The best way to to measure yourself after you get the leafs.
