Mayhem usually gets first dibbs on shotgun, even though she doesn't quite fit too well

But sometimes the little one Rage beats her to it


And forget about saying "wanna go for a ride in the cart?" Because then it just winds up being chaotic excitement for 10 minutes before they realize that you need to fit in the front seat as well to operate the cart

 

He's not picky, passes out in the back, rides on center consol and he'll ride shot gun if no one else claims it first.

 

It's a blue heeler(Australian Cattle Dog). She's a bit on the small side, which I like a lot.
Eight dogs in my life, never been without one in the house. Not to play favorites but, she's the best dog I've had.

I just received okoles in group buy last week. I was waiting to install until after a thorough detailing of the truck. Can't wait cause my trail dogs like to get dirty.

She loves it, but still spends half of her time in the front.

That's when it was clean, just after putting the grey carpeting on. You should see my cab on an average day... Most of you neat freaks would go crazy

 

Oh they love rides, trust me lol. They share the back though. Here's a puppy pic of the black one the day she came home. I had her in the bed to surprise the lady. A couple weeks before, we had lost our first dog we got together due to a rare cancer. It took 2 to replace that awesome dog! Our dog is the one in the right, the left was our friends that we were dog sitting for.

 

Most rewarding mod though. It took me a VERY long time to get my pup. He is great and I am surprised it took me so long. When I talk to others about getting a dog, they always say...now isn't the right time. There is never a "right" time, you just make time for them.

 

Agreed.

 

The right time is when they come into your life. You waited a long time because you're responsible. We've all known those selfish and irresponsible people who got a dog before they were ready and couldn't give their beloved pet the necessary attentions and/ or the life a bet deserves.

Edit: In the winter I work in the ski industry. I frequently see these kids who live in an apartment or small house and work 3 jobs who get a dog and it lives in the apartment or their car for pretty much the whole day.

End rant and run on sentence.
