I got BC4x4 confused with british columbia 4x4 this whole time. Il have to check them out! I got the jeep only vibe from NSJC, is pirate more toyota friendly?

I meant Back Country 4x4! Sorry for the confusion! Pirate welcomes all rigs, its a beautiful thing.

I'm not a fan of NSJC. They're (some of them, not all) stuck up and ignorant.

Like.. Jeez bro, I'm out here to wheel and have a good time. Not be criticized about the type of vehicle I drive.

    Nice!!!

I guess I initially got NSJC and pirate all lumped in under a jeep club and got this anti yota vibe. So thats awesome, looking at facebook, pirate seems to be a pretty easy to get along with group, also a very large group.

Signed up on BC4x4! looking forward to it! Thanks for the direction guys.

Years ago a guy with a black FJ joined the FJNE from NS. He belonged to BC4x4 as far as I know. That has to be atleast 5 or 6 years ago. At that point their website was just a nice home page.

Where did folks buy their CB radio around Halifax? Walmart, Best Buy, and the source don't have any. Steve's radio & alarm had one but I'm looking for the cobra DXIV because it fits right in my ashtray

Mine is a Midland too I believe. Kirk gave it to me, but it recently shit the bed and I haven't gotten a new one. I'm just a poser with a CB antenna.

I went to a Moose Head game and had to park in an underground garage, forgot to tie down the antenna and the roof did quite the job to it.

My coax is also cracked at one end.. Looks like I'm going to need a whole new set up :(

Whenever I get off my ass and start..... I also have my switch assemblies so I'm going to have to start that.. and my relay block.. and most of the parts I need for the Lexus.. Jeebus..

Nice! Check out the study guide coax publications puts out. It's pretty good. I need to schedule my test sooner or later. Something I've had on the to-do list for a while now. Most people around here just use CB on trails or are there many that use 2 meter?

CB is cheaper for sure. I have a few kicking around, I should throw one on the rig.

I have the Midland 1001Z. Great inexpensive radio.
I bought my radio off of Amazon. Probably the cheapest bet. I made my antenna mount and got the actual whip from Steve's on Agricola.
I'd like to get it eventually. I gotta get my pal first though because mitch ruined me :(
