I have a Warn with a undercover HWMS bumper, (no I tried those lights and decided it looked to much like Micky Mouse, I went instead with Rigids)

I have the Engo 10000 synthetic, with a custom front bumper, I've had the winch now over a year, and gotten some good use out of it and with no issue or stalls.

    1ronman,
Since seeing the usoffroad set-up I have been very interested in it. I have a couple ?'s regarding the mounting process. After looking at pictures on their site and looking under my own truck I'm not too sure that would hold up to a very hard pull. Is it only held on by the bolts holding that plastic piece on?

It's held on by the three bolts (I believe the two in the center of your pic, plus one more on the other side of that square tube) holding the aluminum square stock bumper behind the plastics, as well as two bolts on the sub-frame underneath (total of 4 bolts per side). The bolts from the plastics are mostly retained except for a couple in the middle of the bumper at th bottom (the part you cut out to install the US Off-road bumper). You'll end up removing the aluminum stock bumper and installing the new one in its place, and there are two large brackets that connect to the sub-frame.

FWIW two days after I installed it my neighbor got his F-150 Lariat stuck in the mud in the wetlands behind our houses. He was buried up to the frame and up against a tree on the passenger side. I pulled him almost completely sideways up a small grade in the mud and this bumper didn't mind at all. Just had to chalk my wheels so it didn't pull the Taco down hill. So I'm not worried about the bumper in the slightest.

Also, it just occurred to me that the winch is only mounted by 4 bolts that are smaller than the 8 total bolts holding the bumper on. I imagine that if 4 are strong enough for the winch 8 should be fine for the bumper.

Cool thanks. I just reread the website and I missed before where it said extra mounting parts. I definitely think I will be going this route instead of the ARB. Do you have any pics of the mounting(behind the winch) on your truck?

If you mean the extra mounting point, it's actually at the bottom of the bumper where it meets the stock slid plate. Here's what it looks like.

Doesn't look like much but for a linear pull it seems pretty strong. Doesn't seem to add a whole lot for vertical support, but the bumper and winch don't weigh that much.
