Can you post a picture of the SPOD switch panel you installed? Seriously contemplating going this route versus traditional rocker switches. Thanks!

I thought the vibration came from the deflectors I installed and the high cross winds we see here in El Paso. Thanks for the tip!

Did you install exactly like the video? I ordered one last night and plan on doing it when my Mobtown Off Road tailgate skin comes in. I was looking at options on routing it in from the back of the cab so I wouldn't have to route it all the way underneath the truck and routing it by the engine... even though it's convenient to route it there for the wiring. Gave it a quick look this morning and seen a couple options to route it from the back of the cab that would be similar to my Frontier.

It is a little louder and it's capable of taking in more air, but slightly restricted due to the air box. It does feel like it pulls a little better, but that might be mental. I'll have to fill up and check my mpg's on the following fill up to see if there is an actual mpg gain(s).

People need to understand that a drop in filter isn't going to yield much in gains. It's more for the convenience of being able to wash/clean and re-use. I ran a dry filter in my Fronty for that reason as well, except that was an AEM dry filter. I installed a CAI in my Fronty, but later swapped back to stock with said dry filter. There was a bigger difference between the CAI and the stock air box. I later installed an intake manifold spacer (not throttle body spacer) and that was more noticeable in throttle response and fuel efficiency over the CAI.

Yeah I found out the hard way the tacoma sensitivity to hubcentric vs lug centric on my '15 tacoma. A major pain in the butt trying to figure out the vib around 55mph I finally got centering rings and it fixed it but had to ditch the center caps. Then had to worry about the highly intelligent toyota tech's rotating my tires not to crush the plastic rings which they did twice before I finally got metal ones. Hopefully that's all in the past with the my new '16 but just for that reason if I get new wheels they will only be toyota. I guess I just had a bad expirence.

I went through a very similar thing on my '13. New wheels I got are hub centric and haven't had any problems at all.

I figured they would sell faster separately, so I put the wheels on Ebay and the tires on CL, sold the wheels in a couple of days to someone in New York, used the new wheel boxes to ship, worked out real nice, sold the tires to someone nearby who was putting them on a Sequoia. Got 700 for everything.

I bought my 2016 TRD OR and the next week I installed the K&N, works great, the K&N is not as deep as the stock filter but fits perfectly!
