Availability of online 'free' techref/wiring diagrams/parts catalogs?

New to the Tacoma World, I just picked up a nice low mileage silver 08 TRD Offroad access cab here in the Monterey Bay Area... Hoping to do some sedate desert offroad adventures in the near future, maybe pull a 14-17' camp trailer.

Are there any decent resources for factory tech stuff like wiring diagrams for us hobby wrenches? I have had BMW motorcycles, early 90s Mercedes, late 80s Volvos, and these all have extensive tech docs available on a CDrom, including wiring diagrams, parts catalogs, etc. $400/year seems kinda steep for an occasional driveway mechanic.

 

For $36 buck you can get a subscription to AlldataDIY for any vehicle. Very useful. I have one for all my vehicles.
