things like fuel filters, oil filters, brake pads, other "disposable" maintenance items. Do you guys try to recycle or salvage them?

I was thinking about it after my fuel filter has been sitting in my apartment for almost a month. I don't want to throw it in the garbage, but I also don't know if it's something I can recycle.

Most auto parts stores recycle oil filters. Not sure about other parts. Call and ask.

It's less Tacoma and more mod
Garbage for most of it besides fluids. You can throw solid metal items like brake rotors in the recycle or save em up and scrap em. Leave the fuel filter in fresh air and let the fuel evaporate, then toss the filter.
