What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

Just an update: This mod worked like a charm and didn't cost me $.10. Truck sits perfectly level side to side.

 

CT's are way good tires, same as Cooper S/T's. Had them on my shop trucks for years, plus they come in 255/85R16's.

I wonder if Plasti Dip company's eyes lit up with dollar signs when the '16 Taco debuted with all that chrome, because Plasti Dip knew everyone would want to cover that chrome up. Haha

 

Not everyone. Plasti Dip has no place on my Taco. Gimme chrome.

 

Couldn't take the chrome bumper caps. Went full DERP

Has anyone ran their trucks through a car wash with the plasti dipped parts yet? Just curious if high water pressure will peel it.

 

Many many times. It's fine. I spray the grill and wheels from less than a foot away and they're still good. And this is 15K miles later too.

 

Looks great. I had these on my Z71 and they were great tires. Got me through some tough spots.

 

Put some miles on the taco and drove to Vegas last night... 12 hour drive by myself.
