So my driver side CV axle was shot and I replaced it.... now I am getting some strong vibes.

    1) they only occur in 4wd-vibes go away in 2wd
    2) They only happen when the engine is under load-vibes go away when coasting
    3) they start at or above about 35 mph
    4) they don't always happen

I have checked everything for tightness and it is all good....

The new axle is brand new.

    thoughts?

Is a new (OEM) axle or reman? Ive heard bad things about reman axles.

Did you check the needle bearing when the axle was out? I've read about needle bearing issues that cause vibes. May want to search for that. There is supposed to be a bushing fix for it, if that's the problem. I don't know much about it, but have seen threads on it.

I'm with wobble on this one. Probably the needle bearing. Check threads on the ECGS bushing.
