09 to 12 steering wheel

    I tried using the search function to no avail. Is it possible to take a steering wheel from a 12 and install in an 09 retaining all the functions? 2009 is TRD sport.

    short answer, yes. ive done it.

    long answer, you need to find a 12-13 model to retain all the functionality. 14-15 style controls wont light up on older models, but the unlit buttons will still work. the airbag is pricy tho. I suggest you wait for a deal on one off ebay or call some salvage yards. mod difficulty 3/10.
