so i recently bought a 2006 4x4 double cab tacoma. I just had a new deck installed and ran rca's for subs to the area behind the rear seats. I am thinking about buying R/T Dual 10-Inch Toyota Tacoma 2005 - 2011 Dual Cab Sealed Speaker Box https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0057Y8KF6/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_awd_RIW-wbVRNX3Y0 this box and have no idea which subs/amps to buy. I have the factory jl audio and just want something to kick pretty good back there, nothing too crazy that will break the bank. Any ideas/advice would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks

I had the same box and it worked pretty good in my 2015 dcsb. I don't have it any more but I had two 10" JL Audio 10WXv2-4 with a cruddy boss amp that worked ok. Sound was good and hit pretty decent. Just make sure your mounting depth is less than 5 1/2" or shallow mount subs. I use this site http://www.sonicelectronix.com/ . They have decent prices and you can pair amps to subs which makes it easy. Crutchfield is another good site to look at.

Crutchfeild over charges for everything. Sonics is where its at. Read reveiws on everything you think about purchasing as well. And as far as amps and subs ignore "peak" wattage. And focus on rms. 2 200 watt rms subs match an amp of 400 watts rms .Get it?

Do yourself a favour and RETURN THAT BOSS POS before it burns your truck down or greatly disappoints you

x2. BOSS is a very mediocre brand. If you're doing a build on a budget, it's great. You're clearly not since you sprung for Alpine. I highly recommend getting a better amp. I'm rocking Rockford Fosgate in mine.

Have to return it anyway, no room to fit it anywhere without major modification, and tips on a good amp around 2000-3000 watts for around $120?
