Our retro build got the Undercover Hidden Winch Mount System!!!
The mount fit perfect and was an easy install!

Here is the mount and winch

    w3_zpsdw8dydt5_a6b97a848f6a89a9ae5888f3a74be6be68904281.jpg

Our winch, mount, synthetic line and hook only weighs 97.82 lbs... and the stock aluminum bumper that was removed weighed 10.56 lbs... not only do we have more protection up front now, when we deduct the 10.56 lbs from our Undercover Hidden Mount System, we only added 87.26 lbs to our front end! This system is so light that there is no need to upgrade our front suspension... SWEET!
Saved money not going with a heavy winch bumper and new front coilovers!!!:bananadance:

Very happy with the install, if you want a winch but don't want the heavy weight of a winch bumper and added cost off having to upgrade you front suspension, check out Undercover Hidden Winch Mount Systems, the winch mount only weighed 37 lbs!

Just the essentials and no extra fluff.
Any pictures of how the optional integrated recovery points are connected?

That will be in our build video! A bracket came in the kit for it.

Did you buy from Undercover Hidden Winch or somewhere else?

    Can you reveal total cost?

    Ok, I'm confused.

@The Field Archer shows a Hawse fairlead covered by a license plate that appears fixed. How does that work.

@timelesstaco shows a roller fairlead with a raised license plate.

Is this the same truck? Or is it the same company.

Also, did you cut out part of the lower grille, 'cause you don't show that step.

... and where is the build video for this install?

Thanks, guys. I like this concept.

Sorry, we are posting as we build and have changed things along the way... video to come soon, it is not step by step instructional but it will give you a good idea of how easy the installation is and the options.

And here are pictures with more options!

Thanks! You do have to cut out the center of that lower grille, right? And what did you go with, the Hawse or Roller fairlead?

    Nice truck, BTW.

    Hey, @Unchained 5150 , check this out!

Thank you, no, you do not cut it out completely, portions need to be cut around the mount and winch, we used a jigsaw. We are keeping it with the Roller fairlead with the synthetic line Daystar rollers and D-Rings.

Here is the link for more information and pics on different Toyotas, SEMA trucks look sweet! http://www.undercoverhwms.com/

Some flags and center console divider... lots of things on the wanted list.
You are thinking of USOFFROAD's winch mount that cuts the lower valence out. I like both products. Once I get around to saving money, I am not sure which one I will pick.

I have US Off Road one lined up already at a great price. I just don't want to have to lose my Avid light bar. This one's fairlead comes out just above the Avid crossbar and the US one comes out just below the crossbar, but the recovery shackle mounts may be an issue. This one appears to clear the Avid bar above and below, and shares the mounting points of the aluminum crush bar.

Your truck looks awesome taczilla! The D-Ring mounts were optional and we ordered it without them... we changed our minds and installed them after. The mount only weighed 37 lbs and the 97.82 lbs was mount, winch, line, hooks and fairlead.

I think you could do either one with that. However, with the USOFFROAD bumper, you can install whatever light bar you want above it in the same location the hidden winch one comes out. Both are great options.

The plus side to the hidden winch bumper is that you don't lose any mounting points for your bumper. A friend pointed out with his USOFFROAD that it is really loose right next to the cut out he had.

Nothing that some silicone or a dab of PL 9000 won't take care of.

... and then there is this one as well:

Thanks for the compliment. You've done some real nice work with that RC. We could never get those RC 2nd Gens up here in Canada.

Just wondering about that roller fairlead and synthetic line set up. Have you thought about one of these license plate mounting options?

    Canadian, eh!
