So back in November, I ordered a set of 3" tube steps from CARiD.com. No problems - installed easily and look(ed) great.

This morning I look out the window and see what I thought was just a leaf stuck to the side of one of them. After work as I was getting into my truck, I went to brush it off, and realized it was a rust spot, and the paint had chipped away. I noticed this in several other places as well.

    I was pissed.

As soon as I got home, I went onto the Lund website (not CARid) and started up a chat with someone who asked for a receipt and a couple photos. So I sent those and no less than 10 minutes later I got an email saying the replacement bars would ship out within 3 days.

Hopefully this particular set was defective and this won't happen to the replacements. I do live in Canada and there's lots of salt used on the roads here over the winter, but surely these bars are coated and somewhat resistant to this!?

Has anyone else had similar issues?20160329_163125.jpg 20160329_163130.jpg 20160329_163145.jpg
