is anyone else's navigation system not display the road speed limit as there is a option for that? I have tried and tried to get it to work but it will never display the road that I am on speed limit!

Upper left options button. Next 3 bars appear and select map info. Make sure the box is checked and return.

I have it selected and it is marked but I still get no speed limit readings what so ever. Even on the interstate!

And this is all I get at any given time.

I can't figure out why it would display. Sucks because some roads I get on I really don't know the speed limit and this would be very helpful.

What happens when you touch the lower right circled "i"? I tried changing all sorts of settings today and I always have the street name and speed limit showing down there.
Either you need to change a setting or maybe that info does not exist for your area?
If you find an answer please share back.
I could find nothing in the manual.

Hmmm I never tried with the info displayed. Is that the only way yours will display is when the information is pulled up or does yours display without it? I will try tomorrow with the display pulled up. I should have the ability to have it because I have the option. I will have to look again and make sure that the area coverage on my maps is set correctly on my navi. I'm pretty sure it is set to my are but then again I could have possibly accidentally set it for a different zone. I even brought this up to one of the techs a Toyota and their reply was I didn't even know these units had this option. Goes to show just because they sale and work on them doesn't mean they know the vehicle which IMHO you should be knowledgeable about your product haha

Mine displays the street and speed limit in a bar in the right bottom corner at all times when the map is up.
Nothing I tried would give me the info symbol like yours.

I finally got it to display today! Yea that button I can either turn on or off the street information as I please. I have tried displaying the street information before and it never gave me the speed limit but today while going down the road I hit the info button and the road info popped up like usual with no speed limit. I turned the unit back to audio and went back to navi and it displayed the speed limit haha. I done this multiple times and for some reason when I first start my truck I have to go to a different display and go back to the navi before the actual speed limit pops up. It's weird and I'm sure it will come natural when I get used to it now but thanks for the help man! Everything is working as it should now with your help.

I know this is old and I haven't messed with my truck one but since I figured the problem out and now the i icon is totally gone now when I pull up the navi but it appears when I set a destination. Any suggestions on how to get it back? I loved having the speed limit and street name without a destination but at least I have proof it was there if I have to take it in to dealer.

Don't know if you will see this or not but for some reason a couple of months ago the i button dissapeared in regular map mode. It only appears when I have a destination plugged in. Smh have you jade this happen to you yet? After all that time figuring out how to find the speed limit only to lose it shortly after. When in map mode the button is no longer there and I have not done anything to the HU but I have been having problems that others have been having with the unit freezing and rebooting while going down the road. Just wanted to check with you first before I went and did the tango with the dealer lol. Appreciate any info you might have. If not it was fun and safe while I had it.
