I have been getting a clunking noise in my 2011 4Runner but only when it's below 20 degrees F and after I've driven it for 40 or 50 miles. If I take it in to get looked at it's sits in the garage bay, warms up and nothing is found.
Anyway, in my searching I found Technical Service Bulletin #T-SB-0016-13 that might be helpfull to all the Tacoma owners with a clunking noise that seems to be in the rear of the transmission and power train related. Good Luck from 4Runner11
