when I lock my truck it does not beep so I do not know if it's locked or not, unless I see the lights flash. Is there anyway to fix it to where it beeps when I lock it with the remote?

I think this will work as it does remove the beep but I remember someone saying it will turn it back on:

    1. Opened truck with fob.
    2. Opened driver door, left open.
    3. Inserted key into ignition, didn't turn it, removed immediately.
    3. Reinserted key within 5 seconds.
    4. With key in ignition, turned it to the "on" position immediately.
    5. Waited 10 seconds, THEN pressed the unlock button on the fob twice in quick succession. Note: Truck beeped twice signaling it was unlocked.
    6. Rotated the key to off.
    7. Removed key.
    8. Exited truck, closed door.
    9. Pressed lock button on fob, and door locked, no beep sound.

Maybe check to make sure the horn is attached. Some guys on here do that as a work around vs the programming route.

    a bunch of new/used parts....and some skids.
    sub'd

Would be cool not to look out the window for that orange flash every time I lock up.

Sounds like some crazy Xbox cheat codes

Nope, Toyota saved money by not giving you a beep so they can later have money saved to replace rusty frames..... FYI They never had a beep confirm. ;)
