uniball replacement ?'s

my buddy has some icon billet UCA's that the uniball is loose and needs to be replaced
we live in WI and the truck has bout 35k on it. has any one done this? possible to do it in the truck or easier to just remove and do them on the bench? any tips or tricks? let me know

you will need to remove the UCA and do this on the bench. Total Chaos sells a tool but you can punch it out with a couple of sockets and a hammer. A snap ring needs to be removed before you do that however. Look on youtube and you will find a good video showing the procedure. New uniballs can be ordered.

 

yea the uniballs are junk. and my buddy doesnt wanna take care of them so getting new arms
any buddy need some billet icon ucas for a 07+ tundra?
