I have been looking for some quality round LED off road lights to put on my Avid Front Bumper Guard. ARB Extremes are way to big and expensive, and Lightforce 180 round lights are almost twice the price. I saw these Zero Dark Flamethrowers in the Fall 2015 edition of TCT Magazine.

They gave them a good review. Anybody out there have these?

Never heard of them, but those are pricey as hell. Never trust a review found in a magazine, they are all paid for.

They are actually rather reasonable compared to the other round LED lights I have found, and not bad by the lumen when compared to typical light bar prices either. I'm very suspect when it comes to magazine reviews too, that's why I'm looking for TW members who might have seen them.

Bumping this thread to see if anyone has had experience with Zero Dark Lighting. The reviews that I've found about their products are all tied to vendors selling their stuff, and I would like something without that bias. Anyone?

I have been in the market for a round LED to match my scout 2 round headlights and these are the best I have seen so far for the money and for the lumen output. I recently was out on a trail run and ran into a guy that had these and even in the daylight they were incredibly bright and he loved them. So I am going to scoop up a pair of these.

The KC ones only put out ~2200 lumens per light so less than 5000 lumens for both lights at a price of $360 without wiring. I like the KC look better but not by much and with seeing the ZDL on another guys vehicle and hearing his thoughts I am going to have to go with them.

As you can see in my pic I am a bit of a light whore so I hope this helps.

This thread title is very misleading... I had much higher standards when I came into this thread now I'm just disappointed

Will do, the shipping says it will be delivered Thursday so I plan to have them installed Thursday night :) BTW the customer service from Matt was very friendly and very fast before I even placed the order so that's a great sign.

Alright so the lights are in and they are incredible. Very bright and actually light up a bit more of the theory ding area than I thought they would but are still very much a spot beam. The quality looks and feels great and if you buy the full kit then the Barnes comes with plenty of length and is all wired to go for a different lit switch if you chose not to run the round one it comes with. The only thing on the entire set up I didn't like was the harder plastic heat shrine they covered the wires with on the harness. It provides great protection but when trying to run the wire in tight spots it tends to make the wire stiff and not flex very well. With that said I would still want the protection over ease of initial wire running capabilities.

I know this post is about useless without a pic but I blew the gearbox seal in the scout so it's under the knife right now. I'll get a good pic for you ASAP.
