I know i'm a little late but I'm planning to lift my 06 Tacoma 2WD 5 lug. Found a Pro Comp lift kit 3" front and 2" back. I was wondering what size tires can I put? There is a Ready Lift chart that tells you but I am confused. This is it:

    TOYOTA TACOMA 2005-2014 2WD & 4WD
    3.0"F-2.0"R 33" 33” x 11.5” 8" 5"
TOYOTA TACOMA SST LIFT KIT 2007-2013 2WD 5-LUG
    2.75"-1.75"R 31" 30.5” x 9.5” 8" 5.0"

Since the Pro Comp lift kit says it's 3"F and 2"R then idk if I can go with 33" tires or 30.5" . My mechanic said I can put up to 31" and 10.5R15 but idk if that will rub.

    Let me know please!

Gone over the Top for a 5-lug..

Correct section for the 5-lug 2nd generation variants.

The Pro-comp kit above won't work - it's intended for the 6-lug variant.

I have the Readylift SST 69-5510 kit installed, and Bilstein 4600's front and 5100's rear - I am running 29.3" 225/75R16's. There is room for larger, but you have to trim the fender-well black box out and make sure your rim's offset and back-space figures are correct to prevent rubbing, if you get much larger.

With going 33" .. you are going to need to regear the final drive.. and likely other changes, perhaps including a 1" body lift to accommodate such large tires on a vehicle variant not intended to go this high. Stock tire diameter is 26.9", so 33" is a huge leap. 31" is at the top end of up-sizing pretty much, without the need to regear.

There is a wealth of information to read up on in the 5-lug section.. prepare to be occupied with note-taking and planning for days.
