Just thought I would share some pics of my recent trip to Estes Park, CO. Wasn't sure how much snow we were going to get, but ended up with some pretty epic scenery.

Almost no snow when we got there.

Had to do some hiking around Long peak.

Weather channel said we only got 1".

This guy decided to come play in the snow also.

Love Estes park & the Rockies. Wife & I were there last June. Great photos, especially the one of your dog.

Truth. My wife is from SW Colorado. So we spend as much time as possible there or in Moab.

I just got back from Estes park yesterday! Spent a long weekend exploring the area and the park with my girlfriend. What an amazing place. We saw tons of wildlife. Admittedly more in Estes than in the national park but it was a fantastic visit. The Colorado Cherry Company is worth a stop for wine and cider. Wapiti Pub had huge portions, good food, and an extensive beer selection.

Ha, we went to Wapiti Pub while we were there and had a fun time trying all the beers on tap. Very friendly people. Of course it was St. Patty's day when we were there, so pretty much everyone is friendly/smashed. We also so quite a few elk while we were in Estes, but they definitely were looking a little scrappy with their winter coats coming off.

Sounds like a great time! I'm sure St. Patty's was a blast there. We saw some pretty ratty looking elk too but a few still had their full coats.
