How to activate a trac?

2013 TRD SPORT DCSB

I just got my 2016 tacoma Offroad 4x4 6spd manual transmission and i was wondering how do i activate the a trac?..... I put the truck in to 4lo while in neutral and press the a-trac button but no lights on my dash indicate if a-trac is activated.

It is up by where it shows you your cruise control is set. There is no "light" per se
