    I think you get the trip to odo, turn truck off, while holding the trip reset, start truck and continue to hold until it clears. That's the way it's been sincei've had my 08, worth a shot on the 16

    OP - same exact thing happened to me ... the warming light went off after I think three turn offs and back on, that cleared and just kept getting the service warning. You of course can manually turn the warning off.

    When you get your 5K service - they will check ALL fluids - ask them to "be sure to lube the drive train" - that's a service that is supposed to be done at truck prep BEFORE you drive it off the lot. My dealer did not do the prep/lube and didn't do it for the 5K service because it's not part of the 5K service.... even tho I asked my dealer to do it. On my invoice they specifically wrote they did not perform any service thats not on the 5K schedule! I had to do it myself.

    UPDATE !! Dealer said that although this light is used for other critical warnings, in this instance the warning light IS tied to the maintenance schedule. They said I could have waited until 5k miles before bringing it in.
