what gear oil for 2012 tacoma

    hi I cant find what gear oil is required for the front diff i know its 75-90 i could only find GL 4 today, or should i use a GL 5 is the oil the same for front , rear, and transfer case. thanks

    I believe that it calls for GL4, check your manual to be sure. I think the only thing that requires GL5 is the manual transmission if you have one.

    I finally found it manual calls for LT 75-85 GL5 for differentials and 75-90 GL4 or GL5 any one know what the LT designation means?
