    Hello Tacoma World members,

I am looking for a photo of a red Jeep that fell into a creek bed off the Black Bear road from Ouray to Telluride Colorado. It can be found on the web it by putting in “wrecked Jeeps Colorado.”

I own a small publishing firm in Chicago and am producing a book on rescues that take place in the San Juan, Colorado Mountains.

One goal of the book is to promote donations for the Ouray Mountain Rescue Team. Another major goal is to bring attention to the generous volunteering and important work that mountain rescue teams undertake.

The photo would be used in a chapter in the book about the potential dangers on the Black Bear and Imogene roads from Ouray to Telluride.

Obviously, we would give the photo owner a picture credit worded any way he or she liked and a copy of the book.

I appreciate your time in helping me find the owner of this photo.

Might do some good to provide some more details (what model of Jeep, when did it happen [at a minimum, month and year], etc.) so that it'll help ring some bells for readers.

I don't recall hearing about a red Jeep rolling off in the past year.

Covered in stickers and chrome stick-ons for extra horse torques and foot powers. Icon sticker gets me tons of travel, dozens of milimeters.
Asking in a TACOMA forum about a Jeep owner?

Not sure you're chasing the right path, bud.
