My Engel stopped cooling, so I sent it back to the manufacturer. Fortunately, they covered the repair under warranty.

I suggest contacting Edgestar and get their opinion as to how to fix it.

I read in the TW backpack camping gear forum that REI offers 20% off Tepui and you can also collect dividends from the purchase. So If you are an REI member that can be a really good deal. 20% off then 10-15% dividends. But you still have to figure out whether or not you want to lose the shell.

Starting work on my rear seat storage area. I plan on having 2 24" drawers, one on pass. side and one on drivers side. Behind that I will have my house battery, inverter and extra bulk storage. I am hoping to have this done by may because I am heading to Overland Expo West and then Moab. The drawers depth is still being determined but they will be about 19" wide to clear the door and opening. I picked up these drawer sliders today and they say they will support 100 lbs, that should be plenty. Under the floor plate possibly is room for front runners floor hump water container, a bit pricey but a good use of wasted space.

I don't have pics of the tent open. This is the top folded over the cab. I just pull the two pins and up and over she goes. There is room between the tent and top where I put my folded table and camping chairs.

Thanks. It works pretty good for me.

I just put my solar panel up there. I guess I've been lucky also with the way the trucks is parked when the wind picks up. Never had wind blow it around even with nothing up there.

Interested to see where this goes.
I already have my fridge on a slide on the rear passenger side. I have plans of also removing the driver side rear seat and building a flat platform for gear. Now you have my head spinning thinking about adding a drawer for gear storage on that side.

You may want to think about cutting the flat plywood back further so that you can stack things on the floor and not have the wasted space underneath. There's no need to have the plywood overhang that much because if you were to build a drawer that wide it would interfere with the door and not be able to slide out.

Interesting set up. I need to get my softoppers asap and do some measurement. I wonder if it will fit with no trouble folding the toppers.

My bestop would not fold down completely between the tent and the cab. Only the front portion of the top would. That's y I release the side pins for the rear of the top and lay it over the cab.

What would you do in windy conditions? can you release the front pins and just store the top under the tent in the bed?
