It's not drastic, but it's there. No more vibes out of the floor and footwell and less tire noise. I took it on the highway last night, finally and I don't think I need to do any of the doors, just need to solve the wind noise in the roof. I can actually talk to people and listen to music at the same time while driving!

I just bought a shed kit yesterday. Want to bring your shop down to Worthington to help me fix all of the pieces before I assemble it?

It's Worthington. I have to get a permit ($55) just to put a 8'x8' shed in my back yard. Almost as bad as an HOA. I have a week to pick it up, but not sure how long it will take to get the permit.

Question for the grease monkeys here: I'm looking at replacing my torque wrench that I received as a gift. I'm 100% sure this Pittsburgh brand that I have is a Harbor Freight special and I don't trust torquing my nuts and bolts with just any wench, er, wrench. Is Tekton a reliable brand ( http://www.amazon.com/TEKTON-24335-...JJB1A5FTHJW8N1V4&ref_=pd_ys_c_rfy_328182011_1 ) or should I splurge on a better one since I'll be doing most of my own regular maintenance?

And you just ended up using noico and mlv right? I know you talked about using shock deadener but wasnt sure if you did. One more question roughly how many lbs of material do you think you put in the truck? The mlv is close to 1lb per sq ft isnt it? Sorry for all the questions just curious before I pull the trigger on this project.

Did you get the 20 - 100lb or 50 - 250lb? I'd think the 20 - 100lb would fit the vast majority of bolts on our trucks.

I would get something better. Tekton isn't the best stuff, it's good for simple tools but I wouldn't trust the torque wrench. Check on EBay, I have a Precision Instruments one (they make snap-on, Mac, Matco) and got it on EBay new for like $80. Look on tooltopia.com as well

Get a 1/2" 50-250. 100 isn't enough to torque axle nuts and big nuts like that

I'll post a write up tonight about it.

CCF and MLV on the floor/back wall. I used about 35sq ft of each. CCF weighs like nothing but the MLV wasn't too bad. Home Depot brand is about .75lb per sq ft. I'll post links to them later as well.

I was going to do deadener, CCF and MLV in the doors but after driving, I don't think I need to. My main focus now is cutting wind noise on top of the truck

    Yes this.

I've been happy with the craftsman I have had. It's am older one but works well. Think it's like 40lb-ft to 150lb-ft , or something like that.
