2006 Toyota Tacoma 2WD 5 Lug Lift Kits and Tire Sizes ???

I know i'm a little late but I'm planning to lift my 06 Tacoma 2WD 5 lug. Found a Pro Comp lift kit 3" front and 2" back. I was wondering what size tires can I put? There is a Ready Lift chart that tells you but I am confused. This is it:

TOYOTA TACOMA 2005-2014 2WD & 4WD
3.0"F-2.0"R 33" 33” x 11.5” 8" 5"
TOYOTA TACOMA SST LIFT KIT 2007-2013 2WD 5-LUG
2.75"-1.75"R 31" 30.5” x 9.5” 8" 5.0"

Since the Pro Comp lift kit says it's 3"F and 2"R then idk if I can go with 33" tires or 30.5" . My mechanic said I can put up to 31" and 10.5R15 but idk if that will rub.

Let me know please!

 

The size your mechanic suggested should be just fine.

Thanks for the links man! And yea 31" is as big as i can go with a 3" lift.
