So I lasted a month since i bought my '14 DCSB TRDOR.... Before I couldn't abstain from the lift game any longer... I had told myself i would wait until i PCSed back to the states so I could still fit in parking garages here. That lasted one try and not willing to play the Tetris game with a small truck in a garage built for BMW 3-Series sedans again. So I am going to go with a 3" pieced together lift, new UCAs (thinking camburg ball joint for ease of maintainence), there is more than enough scientific and anecdotal lift info on here so no questions there. After reading through forums and researching I see that 255/85/ r16 will fit on stock rims with a 3" lift and have little or no rubbing. The problem is a lack of tire options. The BFG MT KM2 offering sites at 33.3 and 10" via the mfg specs. Now the AT K02 sits at 33.5 but needs a 17" rim. I am leaning this direction (I hope the .1" height and .5" width difference isn't an issue) because I honestly don't need a MT now but I will need new rims. What do you guys think and what wheels do you think look the best on a Barcelona red truck? Sorry for the rambling, an infant and a toddler with the stomach flu has slightly scrambled my brain.

That's a tough one because it's all based on personal opinion. Check discounttiredirect.com. If you order wheels and tires from them, they'll mount and balance them for free, as well as ship them to you for free.

And if you get aftermarket wheels, you'll be able to get a wider tire too since you'll have less offset. My wheels are 8" wide with 0 offset and it's perfect for me. They stick out 1.5" more than stock.

Not sure if Camburg BJ is the UCA to go with. From what I can recall, they don't provide enough adjustability at 3" of lift that you want.

@Unchained 5150 and 15 others had a long, heated discussion with a Camburg rep about it and the rep pretty much said they're not designed to be fully adjustable at that lift height.

Damn that's good to know... I guess my search-foo is not as good as I thought. Well I haven't ordered anything yet so no loss but thanks for the heads up.
