I use to take the Jeep to the lake every summer. Chicks would get in with wet bikinis on. They worked just fine for wetness (of different kinds:devil:).

Asking them to remove their wet bikinis helps too.

Google AC60F. There will be a PDF link to Tacomaworld. Open it in iBooks go to adjustment section using jumper on OBD. It's also in like one of the first pages in gearcrunchers thread. The AC60F is for the 4x4 I think it's an AC60E for 4x2. It's seems complicated but it's really not. You just need a paper clip for a jumper wire. A fluid pump from autozone for $9. Some Toyota WS ATF and an overflow plug gasket #35178-30010 $1.89 when you are at your dealer getting the ATF, and a pan to catch the overflow after the trans gets up to temp. A socket sets and Allen wrench. The thread for the check has great pics for location of fill plugs etc. I really should start a business doing this for new owners

Seems like it would be easier to let the Yota dealer check it. I am suspicious mine is low also. Shouldn't they check it free on a truck 3 months old. Sorriest thing manufacturers did was save $6 per vehicle by eliminating the dipstick. There should be a "add a tranny dipstick" thread and say screw the dealers. My daughters 2002 Explorer is the same way so this is nothing new.

I have read a number of post where the dealer said they checked it but didn't or used a scan gauge tool which is not accurate. Some dealers won't check it unless they think there is a problem. I don't have all day to sit in a waiting room when I can do it myself in half an hour There is some other threads on this with owners experience. I don't want to hijack this thread.

Told my wife that is what the warranty is for. If I cannot easily check it and its so low it burns it up, before the 5k service, then so be it. Fix it then dealer. It's not like Toyota doesn't know about this issue. Why aren't they sending us bulletins about this stuff.

After warranty period, I'll probably figure out a nice way to get 35's or so on it, knowing me.
