Hey guys, I have a Motorola Droid Turbo that I've paired with my truck, a TRD OR, and I'm having an issue trying to play music using Google Play Music. Whenever I try to play a song, the sounds cuts in and out, and when it does play, it sounds like its playing in fast forward. I've tried un pairing and deleting the phone, but even when I reconnect, it still does the same thing. Anybody have this happen to them and figure out how to make it work?

Several other people have stated issues with their android phones and the 2016 head unit. Go to the dark side just get an iPhone. Everything just works.

Alright this makes no sense. I jumped in my truck this morning, and it started playing music flawlessly! If I have time I'll try to replicate the issue and see what fixes it, but I didn't do anything different between last night and this morning haha. Thanks for the help though!

That's funny, in another thread I got basically the exact same response about my iPhone 6 being the problem. It's not the phone it's a software issue of some sort.

I have the same issue. Mine is flawless for first ride if the day. It's after I shit the truck off and start it up again that it skips. That's a real PITA when I'm just making a quick stop somewhere. The only way I can correct it so far is to manually disconnect my phone wait a minute and reconnect.

I hope you find an answer because I haven't gotten any helpful feedback yet.

have you notice that your entune app is not closing out on your phone after leaving the vehicle? I have noticed that if shut off the 4runner and start it back up before entune closes out, it wont reconnect. I have to do a force close on the app and if I am lucky do a soft reboot of the head unit to get them to re-sync.

I found etune to be far too glitchy for my liking. I'm having this issue with just a Bluetooth connection. Maybe I need to force close my audio before shutting off the truck?
